    The Dance

be with someone whom you can dance with.

he will teach you to dance with inspite of his two left feet.

he might embarrass himself to make you feel less so.

he could inspire you without much talent.

he would be the reason for your deep laugh lines.

laughter that comes from the heart and soul.

laughter that leaves its trail a mile away.

trust him, and never go wrong.

hold his hand and know that he'll lead you.

capture his heart and feel the strength of true love.

captivated will you be, when he reaches out his arm-

and invites you to a dance.

a dance worth waiting a quarter of your lifetime for.

a dance no other is worthy of but you.

    ladies, are you ready?

be His princess. be his princess.

    Tues 20th june-

sat was such a long day.

jie and i met up with dickson and allison. what a good time!:) we went to mekong (the supposedly famous vietnam place) to eat beef rice noodles..and we chatted about them moving on from highlife to rcs..

and yes we met shinhan and his 'date' guang ping..hahaha. im so proud of you, you bought a new jacket!!!!

anw, i realised that although im not that close to the Lims, dickson has this 'effect' on me. it's in terms of the "sit-up-and-get-back-on-track" stance he takes. i met up with him before i left for aust and during my short visits back. surprisingly we've pretty similar ways of communicating, hence i do respect him and like talking to him. from this, ive realised i prefer a more thinker straightforward person to talk to. more task-orientated would suit me just well.

surprisingly, he's one of the very few who knows alot about my life and the way i think. and scary enough, he can do that in an hour. hahaha. yeah he knows the love life from a to l. haha i'll leave the a-z to my girlfrens to spill. hahaha.

we brought them to max brenners after that. i think sg does have one rite? it was nice, as usual. l-o-v-e dark choc.:) i cant believe i forgot where chilli padi was and had to ask for directions. just a few months of farm life has reduced me to this. haha.

then we walked to crown! one of my fav places:) visited the looney tunes shop, and ate gelati!! jie and i ate the rainbow ice cream! ('the flavour kids love') the one we ate in 97' in goldcoast. :) barcio is nice too. mixed hazelnut and choc. :)

sunday. cooked (wait for it) tandoori chicken with cheese mushroom and brocolli! :) so yummy. okay fine, the paste was from a north indian packet. but i highly recommend it!!:)

learnt alot from worship leading that day. that's all i can say. =)

monday. started my job at Epping. it's the last station in the northest of Melbourne. takes me about 2 hours to get there. but only for this week cos they change locations every week. i dont mind cos i wanna save up for alot of things:)))

it's promoting some math and english computer program. it's okay, i get to talk to people and improve my presentation skills in front of aussies. will help lots in law classes:)

felt like a clown cos we've to give out balloons to kids as well. i was thinking id rather be ronald macdonald or a clown than a promoter. hahaha. finally i can say with conviction, kids are adorable:) you should see their faces light up when i ask them if they want a balloon:))

cut my hair today:) at the usual hair academy opp taylors (not that great but cheap). i made a grave mistake, the guy who cut my hair was korean. so my request for blowing wavy hair= curly hair in tune with "i will make you a sexy gurl". quote unquote. haha seriously he said that. i was like "what did you say?" haha. so funny. so i turned out looking half poodle. not as bad as last time. haha.

im at shuk's house now..waiting for her to finish cooking dinner for me haha. i know it'll be nice. daughter of a chef!!:) thanks for having me dear! i hope i did help you to pack in some way!:)

staying over at the Sia's house on thur nite in lieu of kripsy kremes. turns out they dont need make-a-broom anymore..but their reply was equally hilarious. :)

The Sia's (Kian Wei and Fiona) are moving to their new home tomorrow- a whole new stage of their lives. Being really and really extremely grateful to Kian Wei for all the lunches, rides home from Blackburn to the City, helping me move house (2trips) from City to Berwick, the both of them being such a blessing to Casey..this is what I sent in.

Didn't intend to publish it, but i think it's really funny. hahaha.

This is your personal housekeeping agency Make-A-Broom here, writing to tell you that your application for a personal housekeeper is successful.

She will ensure that your house is spick and span, with every single dustmite dusted away lovingly and carefully. However, the both of you will have to do some light work in assisting her- making her cake and cookies every 1 hour.

    Her availability is:
    This coming..
Sunday Morning (before Ecc Casey starts, any time)
    Monday Afternoon (At about 330)
    Wed Afternoon..

Transport: She is happy to travel to Narre Warren train station (yes it exists, Mdm), or if the timing is right, catch a lift from the Sir after he finishes work. Negotiable. :)

and she will be pleased to accompany you and Wayne to the Krispy Kreme opening 6pm at Fountain Gate on thur, 22nd June.

Thank you and do reply NOW.

    :) Make-A-Broom.

yay! praise God 3 papers are down. so happy. left bio mcq:) glad chem was fine..actually i realised that as long as you do past year papers, the format is almost the same for my science subs..thought chem would kill..but it's actually quite interesting. should stop entertaining thoughts of doing an easier chem next sem haha. ;)

had cell today! so fun..:) had popiah and i seriously dont know how to make one. everyone seemed to be improving on their next try, and mine's just like some present wrapped in slimy sauce that you'd wish you never got. haha. but anw. watched cracking the da vinci code.

i guess it's interesting how dan brown's gonna sit and laugh about how everyone's scrambling like ants on a red hot wok, trying to figure (not hard, mind you) where he went wrong. the money's just rolling in for him i guess. but what's the point. i like him as an author, read about 3 of his books already. very good mystery plots i must say.

all the same, eileen's couch was so comfy i almost fell aslp. haha. since ps. ken li already preached on the da vinci code last sunday..zzzzz. anw haha. so funny, the girls in my cell- tiff emalyne june eileen and i were talking about girly stuff- hair, dfo. haha. it's really fun being with girls..knowing how girly i can get, not having to bother about what the guys think haha. but it's so strange. one day i was just thinking..i think im getting too girly..i should start mixing around with guys more. haha. yeah i get these kinda thoughts when i start stroking deb's hair. come to think of it, that's a bit too much. haha. (weird stare)

anyway! i better go to the gym soon and yes, lift some weights. haha. so funny, i was quite embarrassed when a few of my ocf frens spotted me doing some circuit training. haha. okaaay. shall try to get shuqing to bring badminton racket over. piak*piak* king*. haha.

going over with daniel daryl and karmen tmr to our campsite to view it?! haha. a short break before i start firing bio stuff into my compressed brain. they say you can never put too much stuff into your brain. okay, i love bio anyway. just that we're studying some animal and plant phylum and history of classification? cant wait to major..rather than do this sort of basic stuff which im not really interested in. but good to know i guess. :) major in human pathology/ immunology (combine major) and minor in microbiology? i dont know..just no environmental or physics stuff. haha.

oh well. i think this blog is just for me to ramble on and on with the occasional substantial elements. haha and i get a kick out of happily doing so. haha. :) bye!

shin han: haha..yeah..update your blog so that i wont think uve retired to become a construction worker, like how i would retire to become a plumber. -_- (still havent forgiven you for saying that) anw. catch you soon before you fly off! stay alive. :)

nick: haha. so funny. my fren mich msged me today saying sth like -all the best for the exams, dont get distracted by the world cup!- haha. and i was thinking, why would i be? haha so funny. anyway, go have fun watching it and tell me who i should support haha. :) take care and this is your first tag on my humble blog. haha. take care. :)

haha i finally got my smelly sports shoes! yeah the ones i bought with jia at queensway, and the ones i used for softball haha. they're washed okaayy..so i can finally get some real sports done instead of toning exercises. nik's gonna bring an extra squash racket for me next sem, so i can play with the pro! haha..:)

eeek i have 3 papers this week..wed-fri. law/stat/chem. hope that everything'll be okay..then bio's next friday. :) then i can cut my horrid hair short!! hahah:)

all the best to everyone's who's having exams!:) and no mau ren, i dont have to study all that. just thought that the quote was a good analogy for one of my friendships hahaha. :) but cool righhhhtt..oh you better tell me when ure leaving for nz okay. meet up before tt or sth. haha:)

and EILEEN BAKED COOKIES and delivered them to each of us!:) and june wrote the card too..so SWEET. i love them. -giggles. -_- i must go take lessons from eileen soon..she's super good. -rubs tummy. better than famous amos. then again, everything's better than famous amos for the worth of my money. haha. :)

shoutout: mummy must go gym okay?:) tt's how to keep young! hehe. and swim at night lor..wear a headlight if its too dark haha. :) love you lots and thanks for talking to me last nite..! love you daddy too! press on:)

    Explanation of reality with humour

"..Those with a taste for fairytales seem to have thought that in some Aladdin's cave there is hidden the Common Law in all its splendour and that on a judge's appointment there descends on him knowledge of the magic words Open Sesame. Bad decisions are given when the judge has muddled the password and the wrong door opens. But we do not believe in fairytales any more. "

Lord Reid, "The Judge as Lawmaker" (1972)
