During our leader's camp, Eelin told us to step forward and leave the past behind. Alot of times, it's not God who has to release us from the past, but ourselves.
I've finally crossed the line. I just think it's good to be careful with who you mix with. I've learnt to choose my friends wisely, and stay away from those who will stumble. You know in sc and hc, quality friends are abundant and real, I never had to worry about who I befriend. haha.
ding ding- I'm here at Monash for a purpose, and I'm really quite happy here!! :)
I think it's because this year, I've chosen not to hide in my shell, but to go out of the way to make friends!!:) It's been cool so far. It's great to meet people from so many different countries and walks of life! Justin and I just finished walking around Monash college, randomly talking to the 'kids'..inviting them for OCF haha.
We had Global Friendship night on Monday, where people can just come and chill (and sing out of tune during karaoke, why can't they make an effort? hahaha kidding, they're really funny). Exchanged numbers with 3 people, it's fun. The girls just ask for your number and all:)
Josh, Jenny and I watched Notes on a Scandal yesterday at Glen. It's a really abstract movie! Quite disturbing, in my opinion. haha. Josh reminded me not to talk to strangers anymore, cos that's one of my interesting little hobbies haha. yar, I won't talk to older women I guess, after watching the show. ;)
and Deb! Come soon lar. :)
"He makes all things beautiful, in His time"
!! AND I miss June and Eileen. I hope I see them soon, because when I walk around Monash, there are so many things I wanna tell them. About my day, about the people I met. =*(
