hello everyone! are you all having a great CNY? :)

sorry i havent been updating, have been staying at my fren's place for a while, so not very nice to use their limited internet access:)

so ive been happily reading books- mysteries in africa, learning more about their culture. 5 books in all. plus many dvds. minority report's (forgive me, im slow) pretty good haha. and enemy of the state. and of course, john grisham's pelican brief is as predictable as sea colour.

anyway, for vday, i met tong shuk in!! :) my date:) at chili pada, where i also met jess koh!:) anw, so we caught up and man, we have moved on (in reference to ex-classmates) etc. which i think is good, albeit too fast;) oh well, we're not young anymore i suppose.

after which, jie and i went to huili's house to bake pineapple tarts with andrew. and alot of boy-hungry-taggers. so yeah, that was fun! haha. it turned out pretty okay, i must say, for a first timer.

for cny, we went to the distant cousin's place (hey deb!!) as usual. played poker (much inspiration after winning all at hauwei's place) and sparklers!! :)

shuk in and nicholas lim frm megalife came to 1045 yest! so happy..MICH YOU HAVE CITY FRENS!! they're coming next week but jie and i cant make it, so mich, you must orientate them! dad's fetching them from blackburn/glen station, so you can get a lift too if you need okay? :) im glad they liked it. :)

church yest was good! although kian wei suddenly backed out due to fiona's contractions haha. but no, the birth was not yest. still waiting..and waiting..:) but it was nice talking to the newbies too. i talked to 3 ppl in all, and 2 of them teared while sharing parts of their lives with me. it's either the cny blues overseas, or just talking to a nice and warm stranger hehe;) but adding value to others, was what pak ken inspired us to do this cny.

okay, you must be bored now, so i'll post pics whenever i can. seems to be my fav phrase huh! i missed the premier of ugly betty cos i was at church. oh well. sch's starting soon, so i'll have no time for teevee.
